The internet is growing daily, and there are websites popping up left, right, and center. Most of the sites are relatively safe and secure to browse. Some websites are thus either blocked or protected for you since you don’t want to get your computer harmed. Also, some websites are simply blocked in your country. That’s where iNinja comes in.
iNinja is a Google Chrome add-on that you can install on your browser, and it will enable you to view websites that may have previously been blocked in your country and also restricted sites you can’t view right now.
This application, or shall we say, add-on, is a very lightweight one. You don’t need any installation and extensive setting up, as the add-on can be installed on your browser. The only thing you’ll see on your computer is a small icon of the app. But most of the time, you should be able to turn it on or off in Google Chrome.
Once the add-on is installed in Google Chrome, you can select proxy servers from the list. These proxy servers are safe havens that allow you to browse and view sites that were previously blocked or inaccessible to you as a viewer.
As we’ve already mentioned, this add-on allows you to view sites that were previously blocked or censored in your country. That’s frustrating because some of the biggest sites might not be allowed in your country, or are only allowed in their limited capacity.
It uses proxy servers to connect you to these websites. These proxy servers will make your computer appear like it’s accessing the site from another location entirely. So your IP will be from another country entirely, so the safety system will not block it. It acts very similarly to a VPN.
With this add-on, you’ll be able to see some of the world’s major sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, and others.
