Angry IP Scanner

Angry IP Scanner is a cross-platform IP address and port scanner working without installation. After it pings each IP address and thus checks whether it is alive or not, the scanner also resolves its hostname, determines the MAC address, and scans ports. Plug-ins can further improve data gathering features, offering any information one needs about the scanned IPs.

Many other plug-ins can be written in Java code, as the source code is available for modifying. In addition to that, NetBIOS information, web server detection, and favorite IP address range also come in the packet.
